FREEDOM FROM DEMONIC ATTACK

It is critical that Christians understand their vulnerability to demonic influence. In reality we are in a winnable war against principalities and powers from the defeated kingdom of darkness. But their lies can gain a measure of control if we let them. Even though you believe that Jesus Christ is God born in the flesh you may see him as less powerful than Satan. God may seem to be distant. The truth, which is the word of God, will set you free (John 14:17). After confessing Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior (Rom. 10:9), you must realize that you are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power (Col. 2:10). Before we believed in Christ, our nature was evil. We disobeyed, rebelled, and ignored God (even at our best, we did not love him with all our heart, soul and mind). The Christian however has a new nature. God has crucified the old rebellious nature (Romans 6:6) and replaced it with a new loving nature (3: 9-10). The penalty of sin died with Christ on the cross. God has declared us not guilty, and we need no longer live under sin's power.

You must make the choice to do what God wants you to do and be what God wants you to be. You need to realize that your body is a temple of the Lord Jesus Christ. You must read his word daily. If you are being attacked physically by demons the more you read the Bible the less they will attack you. If they slam it shut open it and continue to read. Do not get afraid when the demons are around you. They get their power from your fear. The demons will leave your mind instantly when you ask the Lord to take control of your mind, body, and soul. Listen to God's word and praise music on a Christian radio station when you are not reading the Bible. Attend a good Bible preaching church like Calvary Chapel, pray and associate with believers. However Calvary Chapel does not specialize in dissociation. Read Victory Over The Darkness and The Bondage Breaker by Neil Anderson. Everyday declare the Bible scriptures on pages 64 & 65, Since I Am In Christ, in Victory Over The Darkness. When you cannot read the scripture correctly that is where your issue is. Study the Bible to break the lie concerning those scriptures. Picking up a cross or drinking holy water will not help you. Satan is a vicious fighter. To withstand the forces of darkness we must depend on God's strength and use every piece of armor (Eph. 6:10). The word of God is our sword. The name of Jesus Christ is so full of power that all demons must obey. They flee from us when we know who we are in Christ and use his name. If you use the name of Jesus Christ and do not believe you may be like the sons of Sceva in Acts 19: 14-16 and may not be victorious.

You can get free from the demonic transference that you received by allowing people to lay hands on you to get the gift of tongues or to receive healing, or by being slain in the spirit. Ask the Lord Jesus Christ to forgive your sin and to take back the ground from Satan that he gained from this occult activity. It is essential to know that person laying hands on you has a godly walk and is doctrinally sound. It takes six weeks for the transference or mental oppression to leave. Remind yourself that you are saved by the free gift of Jesus Christ our Lord, as it may have been erased by the transference. The spirit behind your tongue may be tested. Remember that you are a child of God. You have direct access to him all the time. He loves you unconditionally. Pray and spend time with him. Do not compromise your beliefs, by tampering with the occult.
